Why OKKO exists
Before OKKO, François worked for a large Belgian IT service provider. As in many organisations, every domain had its own team: Windows, Linux, VMware, network, security. Each worked in its own corner, and nothing was unified. He built a first self-service cloud portal there, so clients could create and manage their infrastructure themselves instead of waiting weeks.
He wanted to go further: a real DevOps culture, cross-functional teams, and an end to the “not our fault, it’s the other team” reflex. The answer was no.
He was convinced that other companies were living the same thing, and were looking for someone to help them change, not just to write them a report. OKKO was born from that conviction in 2018.
